SIPs in Action!

Spring 2024 SIP for the

Notworking 2 Networking Community

Winter 2024 SIP for the

Whitby - Ajax - Community Garden Project

  • "Being a volunteer within the SIP program allowed me to tangibly participate in understanding and addressing a community challenge that may have larger knock-on effects on people and the community. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to contribute to a sustainable cause and help others, or to do something that is not their daily work routine and it will feel good in the end"

    Yu-Ju Lin - Spring 2024 SIP Cohort

  • “We (N2N) are immensely grateful for the outstanding support provided by the SIP team. The dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence they have shown throughout the time of the project have significantly impacted our organization and the community we serve.”

Daniela Sierra Fortin - Operations Manager at N2N

  • “I would like to thank our expert facilitators in navigating us and developing a solution for real-world problems faced by our community garden. Listening to experts in the field, conducting user interviews was a wholesome experience. This empowering program has profoundly shaped my journey towards cultivating a sustainable future for all”

Swaraj Singh - Volunteer of the 2024 Winter Cohort

  • "I recommend this experience to those who want to learn about agile methodologies and techniques while designing people-centered solutions, and to those who enjoy working in team collaborations. It was amazing to see how in just 12-13 sessions we were able to design a solution for our client (N2N)."

Macla Peñaranda - Spring 2024 SIP Cohort

  • “I am so frustrated not doing meaningful work - this project allows me to do something meaningful”

Nurture Passionate SIP Leaders

The world needs more hope and more leaders making an impact. Enabling future and current cause-based leaders to conduct SIPs, with a focus on nurturing enthusiasm, commitment to sustainability and the joy of serving others and the planet.

Boost Global SIP Community

Community connecting and sharing reflections will Inspire others and increase potential of global impact. To support this community we are giving open access to a website where anyone can find resources, learnings, advice from experts, achievements, and news to strengthen their SIPs and other initiatives of social and environmental impact.

Scale for Global Impact

We understand that work cannot be done in silos and we need to help embrace a systems view to make a global impact on SDG’s. We will need to be present in every influential sphere of our society: academia, large organizations, communities, etc, to make this a feasible, viable and desirable way of working, guaranteeing its sustainability and constant evolution.
